You Can Choose To Be FREE

The way you use time is a matter of choice.

-      You choose to be efficient or you choose to be disorganized

-      You choose to focus and concentrate on your highest value tasks, or you choose to spend your time on activities that contribute little value to your life.

Six steps to time Management efficency

These six steps are for re-programming your subconscious for new ways of communicating with yourself and others around you.

Positive Self talk

  1. These are the commands that are passed to our unconscious mind, passing from the conscious to the subconscious. This is the positive self-talk or positive affirmations you are telling yourself.

  2. Begin by, repeating to yourself, “I am excellent at time management!”

  3. Your subconscious mind will then organize your words, actions and focus to align you with your commands. It will want you to be consistent with what you are telling yourself.

  4. Mental pictures, your subconscious mind are influenced by are mental pictures.

  5. The person you see is the person you will be.

  6. Mental rehearsal; this is what athletes are doing to achieve their success.

Focus – Be a Time Management Actor

  1. Act the part, be the actor imagining yourself as a highly efficient person. This is another part to reprogramming your subconscious mind.

  2. Pretend to be the expert in Time Management, fake it until you make it. Eventually your actions will catch up with you beliefs and self-talk.

  3. Find someone who is doing what you are aiming for and model his or her behaviours and beliefs. Many of the most effective people around us are doing what they do because they found someone to model and imitated them.

  4. Find people to teach this too, become the expert and authority who will then encourage and model these techniques so others can learn from them.

  5. By teaching others you applying your knowledge immediately

  6. If you teach new material as you learn it, you seem to absorb it and internalize it faster than if you just thought about learning it and using it for yourself.

Modeling – Be a Teacher

m.  Share you knowledge, talk about it at your meetings. What ways can you implement the learning’s and teach others?

Be a Mentor

  1. Another way o program your subconscious mind is to imagine that you are on show to all the people you work with

  2. Imagine you are setting the company standard

  3. Imagine that everyone is looking to you for guidance

  4. The more you see yourself as a Mentor, the better you become in organising your own time and life

“The quality of your life is largely determined by the quality of your Time Management. The better and more effective you are at managing the minutes and hours of your day, which are the building blocks of your life, the more you will like and respect yourself, and the better will be every aspect of your inner and outer life.”            Brian Tracy

When you develop the disciplines of time management, you simultaneously develop many of the other habits that lead to high achievement, wealth, and success in every part of your life.

The starting point of developing good time management skills is for you to realize that time management is really life management.

The outer life tends to be a mirror image of your inner life. Everywhere you look, there you are.

If you want to change what is going on in the world around you – your relationships, results, and rewards – you have to change what is going on in the world inside you.

What is time, it is an emotion, a feeling. We give it power and say what it can, it is a way of looking at things. Time flies, time stood still, etc it is a constant, we cannot control it or move it. We can measure it and ourselves by it. Where does time go! Time is completely driven by emotion.

What you focus on is what you achieve

Change your focus and you change your feelings

  • This is not about systems and to-do lists

  • Its about what moves you and drives you to action

  • Achieve balance and order in your life

  • Think differently from everyone around you

  • Live your goals – create a plan and goals that drive you

  • If you focus on all you have to do and all that you have done to get where you are you could feel overwhelmed, have you head spin

  • People who suffer overwhelm, ask, “What do I have to do?” Achievers always ask; “What do I want?” They know the end game, they have their goals in sight: What do I want? Not what do I have to put up with? What do I really want; out of this day, week, and this year this decade of my life? What do I really want?

  • You will get to a point where you will just stop, you are frustrated and you have been doing things for other people your whole life and you just want to stop. This is called a mid-life crisis, identity crisis etc.. This is where you are saying you have been living by everybody else’s wants except mine. Stop I need to figure this out.

  • To move on, ask yourself; “What do I want, what is my outcome what do I really want from life?” Get specific,

  • Ask yourself great questions. Questions that empower and you and drive you towards your goals.
