Bush Fire Policy

We are situated in the hills in an area where there is a risk of bushfires in Summer.

Emerald has mainroads leading to Monbulk, Cockatoo/Gembrook/Pakenham, Beaconsfield, Narre Warren/Berrick, Belgrave, which, in case of bush fires, allow for escape routes in every direction.

However, we have a policy that in the event that the Country Fire Authority (CFA) declares a rating of "Catastrophic" in our region (region 13), the Mindstream Centre will be closed. Yoga classes on those days will be credited, other appointments will be rescheduled

Yoga classes will proceed on days of "Extreme" ratings, yet students may chose to participate in another class where suitable. Confirmation of "make-up" yoga classes must be made with the Mindstream Centre staff.
